Making it out Alive.

I've moved here, don't forget to visit!Ben and I went away for a 'nice weekend together'. We drove over to B & D's house on Saturday morning, and left for Taupo with Donna driving their MR2 and Ben driving ours [the cars are near identical - same colour, make, model, wheels, everything except ours has a targa top.] Like me she's used to autos so it was an interesting trip. We stopped at about half way, and I took over the driving. Nobody crashed, so that all went fine. We had some kebabs and looked for a shop that sold swimsuits in the middle of winter. In the end I got a leopard print bikini which Ben likes a little too much, and we went to the supermarket for snacks. We got copious amounts of wine and double chocolate flavoured beer, and headed out to the car park. Driving through the car park some woman reversing without looking came about two inches away from crashing into our drivers door, plunging my heart into my throat. After Ben slammed on the horn the dumb bitch realised she was about to hit someone. B & D were right behind us [in their car that looks just like ours] and she tried to do the same thing to them. She must've thought she was going nuts or something. We grabbed dinner at about 4.30pm, and headed back to the motel to eat. after dinner, we got changed, loaded up with wine bottles, and headed to the spa. We drank wine and stayed in the spa for about four hours, until the motel clerk came to the door to ask if we could vacate for someone else to come use the spa, we were very drunk anyway, so after staggering to our rooms we collapsing into sleep. We woke up at 3am having had 8 hours sleep.
Today, we went to marshal the Taupo race track, which believe it or not was the reason we went up there. After a long morning standing in the freezing cold wind and rain, borderlining on hypothermia, they finally called it off. Thank god.
